After an historic year in athletic competition, Lake Forest College teams added yet another school record by earning the most Academic All-Midwest Conference awards in school history. The league announced the 2014-15 Academic All-MWC honorees on Tuesday.
With two new varsity programs, three conference titles, five teams placing in NCAA Division III play, another sweep of the national handball titles, and a school record number of victories, 2014-15 was an extremely successful year for Forester Athletics.
In her first year of eligibility, Lake Forest College Director of Athletics and former Head Women's Basketball Coach Jackie Slaats will be inducted into the Illinois Basketball Coaches Association Hall of Fame at the organization's annual banquet on May 2.
