The Intercollegiate Tennis Association released its 2014 All-Academic Teams and Scholar-Athletes on Thursday and a pair of Lake Forest College men's players, freshman Dragan Trivanovic and junior Ryne Urbanik, made the list.
In order to earn ITA Scholar-Athlete status a player must meet the following criteria: 1.) be a varsity letter winner, 2.) have a grade point average of at least 3.50 (on a 4.00 scale) for the current academic year, and 3.) have been enrolled at their present school for at least 2 semesters.
Trivanovic and Urbanik were also on the list of the College's 78 Academic All-Midwest Conference honorees released on Wednesday. In addition, Urbanik was the men's tennis team's representative on the Forester Fall Semester All-Academic Team. They combined for 29 victories in singles and doubles play this past year.
