Foresters Earn 68 Academic All-Midwest Conference Honors
July 17, 2013The Midwest Conference announced its Academic All-MWC honorees for 2012-13 on Wednesday. Lake Forest College student-athletes tallied 68 selections in 13 sports listed. -
Spring Athletic Alumni Challenge
April 16, 2013Forester Athletics and the F.A.N. Club invite all former athletes and their families to participate in the 2013 Spring Athletic Alumni Challenge, which will take place on Saturday, April 27. “This day provides such a great opportunity for former players to come back to campus and not only play in a game together, but share their life experiences with our current student-athletes,” explains Athletic Director Jackie Slaats

McCloskey and Rupnik Named First Team All-MWC, Cooper Second Team
November 07, 2012The 2012 All-Midwest Conference volleyball teams were released Wednesday and three Foresters made the list. Seniors Molly McCloskey and Tia Rupnik were named First Team All-MWC while classmate Cori Cooper was a Second Team selection.

November 02, 2012The Lake Forest College volleyball team had its 2012 season come to an end Friday at the Midwest Conference Tournament, which is being hosted by Cornell College. The Foresters were defeated 25-18, 25-23, 25-17 by St. Norbert College in the semifinals of the tourney.

Lake Forest Win at Knox, Clinches Berth in MWC Tourney
October 27, 2012The Forester volleyball team prevailed 25-8, 25-13, 25-16 at Knox College on Saturday to clinch the #3 seed in next weekend's four-team Midwest Conference Tournament. Lake Forest senior Megan Trubich matched her season-high with 11 kills on just 16 attempts in the contest.

Foresters Win Thrilling Five-Setter at Monmouth, Near MWC Tourney Berth
October 26, 2012The Lake Forest College volleyball team won 16-25, 25-20, 19-25, 25-20, 22-20 at Monmouth College Friday night and can clinch a spot in the four-team Midwest Conference Tournament with a victory at Knox College tomorrow afternoon. Forester senior Molly McCloskey led all players in the match with a career-high 26 kills.

October 18, 2012The Forester volleyball team came from behind to win 16-25, 25-23, 25-19, 25-22 Thursday night at Illinois College. Senior Cori Cooper was one of two Lake Forest players with a match-high 20 kills and she recorded her 1,000th career dig.

October 05, 2012The Lake Forest College volleyball team defeated visiting Grinnell College 25-21, 25-18, 25-15 Friday night to raise its overall record to 12-6 and Midwest Conference mark to 3-0. Forester senior Cori Cooper led all players in the match with a dozen kills and a .750 hitting percentage.

September 29, 2012The Lake Forest College volleyball team dropped the first set 25-14 but won the next three 25-13, 25-20, 25-10 to defeat host Ripon College Saturday night. Forester senior Kristen Braun returned from injury to record a season-high 13 kills.

Lake Forest Set to Induct Three Individuals, One Team into Athletic Hall of Fame
September 25, 2012Lake Forest College, in conjunction with its annual Homecoming festivities, will induct volleyball player Stephanie Reinboldt Leao '02, hockey player Bryan Desmond '93, soccer/hockey player Dan Burns '81, and the 2002 softball team into the Forester Athletic Hall of Fame on October 6.
