Sophomore Amanda Lee's 82 on Sunday was her team's best of the weekend as Lake Forest placed sixth out of 15 schools at the UW-Whitewater Fall Invite.

Lee needed 41 shots to get through each half of the course on Sunday and carded nine pars in her round after recording just four on Saturday. The 12-shot improvement moved her up 23 spots into a tie for 22nd place in the 93-player field.

Sophomore Faith Jung and junior Cece Cruz were next for the Foresters in 25th place with matching scores of 179. Cruz was better in round one with an 86 and Jung had an 87 in round two. Each players birdied the 431-yard, par-5 11th hole during her lower round.

Senior Anhayte Guajardo was fourth on the team and tied-for-42nd overall with a 36-hole score of 186. She had eight pars and a birdie while shooting an 88 on Sunday.

Whitewater won the competition with a two-day score of 635, 10 shots ahead of runner-up UW-Oshkosh. Lake Forest was tied for seventh place after Saturday's 370 before moving up into sole possession of sixth place with a 350 on Sunday.

The next event on the Foresters' schedule in next Sunday's Aldeen Preview, which will be played on the same course as the Midwest Conference Championship Tournament and will start at 10:00 a.m.
