Lake Forest College women's soccer player Lisa Sorensen was named Second Team All-North Region by the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) on Monday. She was the only player from the Midwest Conference to earn the honor.
Sorensen, a sophomore forward, started each of the Foresters' 19 games and ranked second on the team with 10 goals, eight assists, and 28 points. She led the squad with four game-winning goals.
After just two seasons, Sorensen already ranks tied-for-11th in program history with 63 points on 24 goals and 15 assists.
Sorensen is the second Lake Forest player in as many years to be recognized by the NSCAA, joining fellow sophomore forward Becky Esrock, who earned Third Team All-North Region honors in 2009.
