Women's hockey player Michelle Greeneway was named Forester Athlete of the Week on Thursday after scoring eight goals in three games last week.
Greeneway, a freshman forward, recorded the fourth four-goal game in program history last Friday in a 5-1 victory at Finlandia University. She scored twice in the first period and two more times in the second to stake the visitors to a 4-0 lead.
Lake Forest routed the Lions 10-1 on Saturday and Greeneway was one of eight players on the team to score in the game.
The Foresters hosted and defeated Concordia University Wisconsin 7-1 Tuesday night and Greeneway scored three goals and assisted on another. All four of her points were recorded in the third period as the home team pulled away.
Greeneway leads the Northern Collegiate Hockey Association with 19 goals and 31 points and ranks among the top three in the nation in goals and points per game.
Forester Athletes of the Week are selected by the Athletic Department on Thursdays. Greeneway also earned the honor on January 10 and as a soccer player on September 27.
