The men's part of the Aurora Grand Prix was conducted on Friday and several Foresters turned in season-best performances.
Freshman Trentyn Tyson posted season-best times in a pair of events. His 56.95 in the 400m ranks fourth in team history and he added a 25.08 in the 200m later in the meet.
The only Forester with a better time in the 200m on Friday was freshman Tucker Forrest at 24.99.
Junior Rayan Khalid was also the team's best in the 60m, which he completed in 7.56 seconds. Forrest and Jermaine Robinson were next on the squad with identical clockings of 7.63 seconds.
Senior Lionel Whitehead registered a personal record in the 800m with a time of 2:10.62 while classmates Owen Bodine and Jake Reid recorded distances of 17'9.5" in the long jump and 34'1.5" in the shot put, respectively.
The Forester women will travel to Aurora for their half of the meet on Saturday.
