The Forester men's tennis team registered a 6-3 victory over Millsaps College on Sunday at the University of Texas-Tyler. Senior Chris Paterakos was one of three Lake Forest players to win twice during the match.
Paterakos teamed with sophomore Kevin Lasky on an 8-4 triumph at #3 doubles. The Foresters swept the three doubles matches. Junior Elliot Muth and sophomore John Adams edged out the top tandem from Millsaps 9-8 (7-4) while freshman Ryan Kreis and senior Jon Flaksman won in a more convincing fashion (8-2) at #2.
One player from each of Lake Forest's three doubles teams was also victorious in singles. Adams prevailed 6-3, 6-2 at #3, Flaksman won 6-1, 6-3 at #4, and Paterakos recorded 6-2 victories in both sets at #5.
The Foresters have now split the first two of their five scheduled Spring Break matches in Texas. The team is now 4-2 overall this season and will be in action next at the University of Texas-Dallas Tuesday afternoon at 3:00.
