Lake Forest College golfer Jacob Krugman received his sixth career Midwest Conference Performer of the Week award on Tuesday after finishing seventh out of 116 players at last weekend's Jim Wetherbee Memorial Invitational.
Krugman, a junior, posted a season-best score of 73 in Friday's opening round and carded a 77 on Saturday. He finished six shots over par for the weekend on the 6,522-yard course at Soangetaha Country Club in Galesburg, Illinois.
Krugman improved his scoring average on the season to 77.10 and ranks second on the team and third in the league in that category.
MWC Performers of the Week are selected by the league office. Krugman also earned the award twice last year and three times as a freshman.
