Aidan Price Enters into NFF Hampshire Honor SocietyMay 02, 2013The National Football Foundation & College Hall of Fame (NFF) announced Thursday the members of the 2013 NFF Hampshire Honor Society, which is comprised of college football players from all divisions of play who each maintained a cumulative 3.2 GPA or better throughout their college career. A total of 703 players from 259 schools qualified for membership in the society's seventh year, including Lake Forest College safety Aidan Price.

Al Mitchell and Pete Scaffidi to Play, Jim Catanzaro to Coach in Tazon de EstrellasNovember 27, 2012Lake Forest College senior running back Al Mitchell and quarterback Pete Scaffidi have been named to the Team Stars & Stripes roster for the Tazón de Estrellas (Bowl of the Stars) to be played against the CONADEIP All-Stars in Guadalajara, Mexico, on Saturday, December 15. Forester head coach Jim Catanzaro will be on the Team Stars & Stripes coaching staff.

Al Mitchell's Offensive Player of the Year Award Highlights Foresters' All-MWC SelectionsNovember 14, 2012Lake Forest College senior tailback Al Mitchell was named Midwest Conference Offensive Player of the Year and Forester Head Coach Jim Catanzaro the league's Coach of the Year on Wednesday. Teammates Austin Sobey, Will Savor, Jake Rotkvich, Jordan Cruz, and Ed Dobernig joined Mitchell as First Team All-MWC selections and Lake Forest had a league-high 13 players listed overall.

Foresters Fall at St. Norbert, Finish Season as Co-MWC ChampionsNovember 10, 2012The Lake Forest College football team was defeated 20-10 at St. Norbert College on Saturday, leaving both teams with a league-best 8-1 record in Midwest Conference play. Senior defensive lineman Jake Rotkvich led the Foresters with eight tackles, including 4.5 tackles for loss and a pair of sacks.

Lake Forest Ranked 10th in the West RegionNovember 07, 2012The NCAA Division III Football Committee released the regional rankings on Wednesday and Lake Forest College was listed 10th in the West Region. The Foresters have already claimed at least a share of the 2012 Midwest Conference title and can secure a berth in the NCAA Playoffs with a victory at St. Norbert College on Saturday.

Foresters Defeat Ripon 17-7, Clinch at Least a Share of MWC TitleOctober 27, 2012The Lake Forest College football team defeated visiting Ripon College 17-7 on Saturday to clinch at least a share of the 2012 Midwest Conference championship. Junior linebacker Bryce Jones and senior safety Aidan Price led a Forester defense that kept the Red Hawks off the scoreboard after the visitors' first possession of the game.

Lake Forest Comes Back to Win at Monmouth, Stays atop MWC StandingsOctober 13, 2012The Forester football team outscored host Monmouth College 28-24 on Saturday and is now 6-1 overall and a perfect 6-0 in Midwest Conference play this season. Lake Forest freshman running back Joey Valdivia had a game-high 136 rushing yards, including 43 to score the winning touchdown with 2:25 to play in the contest.

Vote Jim Catanzaro for Coach of the YearSeptember 24, 2012Forester fans, take a moment to vote via Twitter for Lake Forest Head Football Coach Jim Catanzaro for Liberty Mutual Coach of the Year. The award recognizes college football coaches who demonstrate sportsmanship, integrity, responsibility and excellence both on and off the field. The program awards one winning coach from each NCAA division with $50,000 to donate to a charity of their choice, a $20,000 grant to each school’s alumni association, and the Coach of the Year trophy.

Foresters Dominate Second Half, Defeat Knox 34-13September 22, 2012The Lake Forest College football team posted its third straight victory, a 34-13 triumph over visiting Knox College, on Saturday. Forester senior running back Al Mitchell finished the contest with 131 yards from scrimmage and scored three touchdowns.
