The College Swim Coaches Association of America recently released its Spring 2015 Scholar All-America teams and individual honorees and Lake Forest College was part of both lists. The Forester women earned the status as a team while seniors Christina Pekar and Sarah Pekar, junior Kristofer Korth, and sophomore Emily Bowens were recognized as individuals.

Christina Pekar was named to the Scholar All-America Team after posting a GPA of at least 3.50 and competing at the NCAA Division III National Championship Meet in March. She placed seventh in the nation in 3-meter diving and eighth off the 1-meter board to claim All-American honors in both events.
Sara Pekar, Korth, and Bowens earned Honorable Mention Scholar All-America status with grade point averages of at least 3.50 and by posting a "B-cut" qualifying mark during the season or by competing in the NCAA Division III Regional Diving Meet. Pekar placed sixth off the 3-meter board at the regional competition to narrowly miss qualifying for the NCAA Championships. Korth posted "B-cuts" in the 200-breaststroke and Bowens in the 200-backstroke.
