The Midwest Conference announced the 2021 All-MWC Men's Soccer Teams on Thursday and a trio of Lake Forest players earned second team honors.
Sophomore goalkeeper Szymon Mocarski posted a 4-4-0 record and 1.33 goals against average in league play this season. He surrendered no more than two scores in any conference game and earned a shutout at Monmouth College on October 2. Mocarski's 70 saves overall this year are the 10th-highest single season total in team history.
Sophomore midfielder Elliot Hull ranked fifth in the MWC with 10 points and tied-for-fifth with four goals in league play this season. He turned in the Foresters' only hat trick of 2021 in a 5-1 victory at Ripon College, assisted on the first goal of a 3-0 win at Monmouth, and accounted for an assist and the decisive score in a 2-1 triumph at Illinois College. His five goals and 12 points overall led the team.
Senior defender Connor Keast tied for sixth in the conference with nine points on three goals and three assists. He had a goal and assist at Ripon and against Beloit College, set up another score at Monmouth, and netted one of his own at Cornell College. Only three players in the league had more than his three assists during MWC play.
Lake Forest finished fifth in the conference standings with a 4-4-0 record in the league this fall. The team has now had at least three players listed among the best in the MWC every full season since 2011.
