Foresters Earn 78 Academic All-Midwest Conference Honors
July 09, 2014The Midwest Conference announced its Academic All-MWC honorees for 2013-14 on Wednesday. Lake Forest College student-athletes tallied 78 selections, the most in school history, in 13 sports.

Another Honor for Mahir Mameledzija: NCAA Postgraduate Scholarship

November 22, 2013The College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) released the 2013 Capital One Academic All-America® Men's Soccer Teams on Friday and Lake Forest College's Mahir Mameledzija was not only a repeat honoree on the First Team, but was also named Capital One Academic All-American® of the Year.

Bergmann, Mameledzija, and Four Other Foresters Honored by MWC
November 20, 2013The 2013 All-Midwest Conference Men's Soccer Teams were released on Wednesday and Lake Forest College was well-represented. Mahir Mameledzija was named MWC Player of the Year and Offensive Player of the Year and Steven Johnson, Kyle Kraus, Dylan Hartman, and Ethan Guenther also earned all-conference honors. Chris Bergmann repeated as MWC Coach of the Year.

NCAA Men's Soccer Tournament Information
November 14, 2013The Lake Forest College men's soccer team is set to host Luther College on Thursday in the first round of the NCAA Championship Tournament. The game will begin at 1:00 p.m. with the winner advancing to play at Loras College in the second round on Sunday.

Foresters Unable to Advance Past Luther in NCAA Tournament
November 14, 2013The Lake Forest College men's soccer team was defeated 3-0 by visiting Luther College Thursday in the first round of the NCAA Division III Tournament. It was the Foresters' first trip to the national tourney since 1980.

Foresters Defeat St. Norbert 4-0, Advance to NCAA Tournament
November 09, 2013The Lake Forest College men's soccer team defeated visiting St. Norbert College 4-0 in the final of the Midwest Conference Tournament on Saturday. Along with the tourney title comes the league's automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament, which will begin on Friday, November 15.

Foresters Defeat Knox 2-1, Advance to MWC Tourney Final
November 08, 2013The Lake Forest College men's soccer team defeated visiting Knox College 2-1 in the semifinals of the Midwest Conference Tournament on Friday. Senior Mahir Mameledzija scored the Foresters' second goal, which turned out to be his seventh game-winner of the season.

Midwest Conference Tournament Preview
November 06, 2013(from midwestconference.org) The 2013 Midwest Conference Men's Soccer Tournament has only half of the 2012 field returning with Carroll looking for its fourth straight MWC Tournament title. Lake Forest hosts the tournament in consecutive seasons after going 9-1-0 in league play en route to claiming its 16th MWC Championship. Joining the Foresters will be Carroll, St. Norbert, and Knox with the tournament taking place November 8-9, 2013.

November 02, 2013The Forester men's soccer team clinched its second consecutive Midwest Conference championship and the 16th league title in program history on Saturday by defeating visiting Lawrence University 3-0. Lake Forest will host the MWC Tournament on Friday and Saturday.
