The Midwest Conference released the 2022-23 All-MWC Men's Basketball Teams on Thursday and Lake Forest College's Alex Knight was among the top honorees.
Knight was the league's leading scorer this season, averaging 18.1 points per conference game. The sophomore guard also finished third in the MWC in field goal percentage, shooting 52.6 percent, and fifth with 2.9 assists per contest. In addition, his 1.1 steals and 5.1 rebounds per game ranked 13th and 16th, respectively.
Knight scored in double figures in 15 of 16 conference contests are had 20 or more points in five of them. He finished the season strong, averaging 22.0 points on 56.3 percent shooting from the field in the final eight games.
Lake Forest posted an 8-8 record in MWC play this season and finished fifth in the league standings.
The Foresters have now had at least one player earn All-MWC honors in each of the last seven full seasons and a first team selection in the last four.
