Travis Clark Named MWC Performer of the Week Again

Lake Forest College men's basketball player Travis Clark was named Midwest Conference Performer of the Week for the fourth time this season on Monday. He averaged 26 points and 13 rebounds in a pair of league games.
Clark led all players in the game with 20 points, 15 rebounds, and four assists in the Foresters' 64-50 victory over visiting Knox College Wednesday night. He shot 10-for-16 from the field in the contest and added two steals and a blocked shot.
Lake Forest was defeated 112-101 at Grinnell College on Saturday and Clark finished with a game-high 32 points and 11 boards. He missed just two of 13 field goal attempts and knocked down all six of his free throws. He also recorded two more steals and another blocked shot.
On Saturday Clark passed Karl Maass (1974-78) for third place in program history with 1,467 career points. He also moved into sixth place in team annals with 798 career rebounds.
Clark finished the regular season ranked first in the conference in rebounding, second in field goal percentage, third in steals, fourth in scoring, fifth in blocked shots, and 11th in assists.
MWC Performers of the Week are selected by the league's sports information director. It was the sixth time he earned the award in his career.
