Foresters Earn 78 Academic All-Midwest Conference Honors
July 09, 2014The Midwest Conference announced its Academic All-MWC honorees for 2013-14 on Wednesday. Lake Forest College student-athletes tallied 78 selections, the most in school history, in 13 sports. -
Three Foresters among NFF Hampshire Honor Society Honorees
April 29, 2014The National Football Foundation & College Hall of Fame (NFF) announced Tuesday the members of the 2014 NFF Hampshire Honor Society, which is comprised of college football players from all divisions of play who each maintained a cumulative 3.2 GPA or better throughout their college career. A total of 838 players from 267 schools qualified for membership in the society's seventh year, including Lake Forest College's Ed Dobernig, Michael Garetto-Balmer, and Jake Rotkvich.

Football Team Leads Lake Forest's Efforts in Raising Money for Cancer Research
April 22, 2014Lake Forest College's annual Relay For Life event took place April 4-5 in Alumni Memorial Field House. More than $40,000 was raised and donated to the American Cancer Society.

Nick Waters Named Defensive MVP of Tazon de Estrellas
December 21, 2013Featuring seven Foresters, the Stars and Stripes Team defeated Mexico 29-7 in the 2013 Tazon de Estrellas on Saturday. Lake Forest defensive back Nick Waters (#36) was named the Defensive Most Valuable Player of the Division III all-star game.

Jake Rotkvich Named a Captain for Team Stars and Stripes
December 20, 2013Team Stars & Stripes has named four players, including Lake Forest College senior Jake Rotkvich, who will captain the all-star team of NCAA non-scholarship student-athletes against the CONADEIP All-Stars in the fifth annual Tazón de Estrellas (Bowl of the Stars) this Saturday, December 21.

Jim Catanzaro Named One of Five Division III Finalists for 2013 Liberty Mutual Coach of the Year Award

Seven Forester Seniors Named to Tazon de Estrellas All-Star Game Roster
December 03, 2013The 52-player Stars and Stripes roster for the annual Tazon de Estrellas Division III all-star game was announced on Tuesday and it included seven Forester seniors. In addition, Lake Forest College Head Coach Jim Catanzaro will serve on the squad's coaching staff. The game will be played on December 21 in Monterrey, Mexico.

Foresters Finish Season with 31-3 Rout of St. Norbert
November 16, 2013The Lake Forest College football team closed out the season with a convincing 31-3 victory over visiting St. Norbert College, the 2013 Midwest Conference champion. Forester senior quarterback Mike Lewis saved his best for last, completing 16 of 22 passes for a career-high 299 yards and three touchdowns.

October 26, 2013The Lake Forest College football team prevailed 17-10 at Cornell College Saturday afternoon to raise its overall record on the season to 7-1 and Midwest Conference mark to 6-1. Forester senior cornerback Ed Dobernig returned an interception 32 yards and a fumble 33 yards for a touchdown in the contest.

Stout Defense, Third Down Conversions Lead Lake Forest to Victory over Monmouth
October 19, 2013The Forester football team defeated visiting Monmouth College 17-14 on Saturday to extend its winning streak on Farwell Field to nine games. Freshman tailback Charlie Quinn ran 19 times for a game-high 94 yards and a touchdown on the day.

Foresters No Longer Undefeated after Falling at Illinois College
October 12, 2013The Lake Forest College football team was defeated 55-7 at Illinois College on Saturday and fell to 5-1 overall this season and 4-1 in Midwest Conference play. Sophomore wide receiver George Vidas scored the Foresters' only touchdown on a 7-yard reception early in the fourth quarter.
