Record Breaking Number of Student-Athletes Earn A-Team Honors
April 25, 2016On Thursday, April 21, President Steve Schutt and Athletic Director, Jackie Slaats, hosted a dinner at Glen Rowan House to recognize this year’s “A-Team” honorees. The A-Team is comprised of student-athletes who received straight A’s in either the 2015 fall or 2015 spring semester.

Another Fantastic Fall in the Forest
November 24, 2015Two Forester teams captured Midwest Conference championships and another advanced to the NCAA Tournament in the fall of 2015. Lake Forest's eight fall sports combined for a .606 overall winning percentage and a .744 mark in league play. Individual Foresters earned 29 all-conference honors and set or tied 24 program records.

Record-Setting Day for Foresters at Regional Meet
November 14, 2015Kristen Whitney and Jorge Villanueva ran the fastest times in program history for the Lake Forest College cross country teams at the NCAA Division III Midwest Regional Meet in Rock Island, Illinois, on Saturday. The Forester women placed 15th and the men 18th in the 40-team field.

Forester Men Finish Third, Women Fifth at MWC Championships
October 31, 2015The Lake Forest College cross country teams traveled to Cedar Rapids, Iowa, to compete in the Midwest Conference Championships on Saturday. Junior Rocco DiMatteo led the Forester men to a third-place finish while the Lake Forest women placed fifth. The teams combined for a league-best seven all-conference honors.

Kristen Whitney Breaks School Record at AAE Invitational
October 17, 2015The Lake Forest College men's cross country team placed 35th and the women 38th at the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh AAE Invitational on Saturday. Forester junior Kristen Whitney ran the fastest 6-kilometer race in program history.

October 13, 2015Lake Forest College cross country runner Jonathan Stern was named Midwest Conference Performer of the Week on Tuesday after finishing first at the Lamb-Kohawk Invitational last Saturday.

Lake Forest Men Win, Women Place Third at Lamb-Kohawk Invitational
October 10, 2015Previewing the course where they will compete in the Midwest Conference championships later in the month, the Lake Forest College men's cross country team finished first and the women third at the Lamb-Kohawk Invitational on Saturday. Four Foresters placed among the top 10 in the men's 8-kilometer race.

Lake Forest Among 50 Teams Competing at Brissman-Lundeen Invitational
September 25, 2015The Forester men's cross country team placed 20th and the women 21st in a 50-team field at Augustana College's Brissman-Lundeen Invitational on Friday. Lake Forest sophomore Jonathan Stern, freshman Jorge Villanueva, and junior Sintayehu Regassa finished in less than 27 minutes and posted 8-kilometer times that rank among the top 25 in program history.

September 19, 2015The Lake Forest College women's cross country team finished eighth and the men 11th at Wheaton College's Gil Dodds Invitational on Saturday. Junior Kristen Whitney led the women's squad and now owns seven of the program's 25 fastest 6-kilometer times.

September 12, 2015The Forester cross country teams traveled to Grand Rapids, Michigan for Calvin College's Knights Invitational on Saturday. The women and men each placed 16th and junior Kristen Whitney ran the 12th-fastest 5-kilometer time in program history.

Forester Men Place Fourth, Women Fifth at Tom Barry Invitational
September 05, 2015The Lake Forest College cross country teams competed at St. Norbert College's Tom Barry Invitational on Saturday and the Forester men placed fourth out of nine teams and the women fifth out of 10. Sophomore Jonathan Stern was the team's top finisher in 11th place overall.

Forester Men Predicted to Finish Second in MWC, Women Fifth
August 20, 2015The Midwest Conference released its 2015 Cross Country Coaches Preseason Polls on Thursday and the Lake Forest College men were picked to finish second at this year's championship meet while the women's were predicted to be fifth. The teams were third and fifth, respectively, last season.
