Johnson shot 7-for-11 from the field, knocked down a pair of three-pointers, grabbed a team-high nine rebounds, and added four assists and a steal. Lally was even more efficient offensively, connecting on eight of 11 attempts from the field, and chipped in with seven boards and a couple of steals.
Forester junior guard Katie Neher and sophomore guard Marissa Edwards also reached double figures with 14 and 11 points, respectively. Edwards, whose point total was a career-high, also recorded three steals and dished out four assists in the contest.

The Foresters shot 50 percent from the field and 40 percent (8-for-20) from three-point range. They also limited Fontbonne to just 38.6 percent and out-rebounded the Griffins 31-28.
Lake Forest never trailed and held a 23-11 lead at the end of the opening quarter and a 42-19 advantage at halftime. Fontbonne, however, outscored the Foresters 30-16 in the third quarter and closed to within five at 58-53 a minute into the fourth. The margin was five again at 60-55 with seven minutes left before eight straight points by Lake Forest put the game out of reach.
