May 16, 2017Lake Forest College softball player Kat Beall received the Midwest Conference Elite 20 Award for the second straight season. The presentation was made on May 5 at the MWC Tournament.

Men's Hockey Leads The Way At A-Team Dinner
May 11, 2017On Thursday, April 20, Lake Forest College President Steve Schutt and Athletic Director Jackie Slaats hosted a dinner at Glen Rowan House to recognize this year’s “A-Team” honorees. The A-Team is comprised of student-athletes who received straight A’s in either the 2016 fall or 2016 spring semester.

Foresters Come Back to Win Opener, Game Two Cancelled
April 29, 2017Sophomore rightfielder Alyssa Grimm's two-run double in the seventh inning tied the game and she later scored the winning run in the Lake Forest College softball team's 8-7 victory over Illinois College on Saturday. Game two of the doubleheader was halted after four innings due to rain and field conditions.

Foresters Win Twice at Ripon, Clinch MWC Tournament Berth
April 25, 2017Junior second baseman Jillian Rashid was 4-for-7 on the day to help the Lake Forest College softball team sweep a doubleheader at Ripon College on Tuesday. The Foresters took the opener 3-1 and game two 6-1.

April 23, 2017Sophomore leftfielder Abby King drove in eight runs on the day as the Forester softball team won 11-0 and 14-4 at Knox College on Sunday. Both games were called after five innings.

April 19, 2017Senior Jenny McTague and freshman Missy Dieckman-Meyer combined to allow just six hits and struck out 14 batters in 12 innings as the Forester softball team defeated visiting Beloit College 7-2 and 13-0 on Wednesday.
