Jackson and Esposito Listed on Division III Preseason Starting Lineup

The College Football America Yearbook recently released the 2022 Division III Preseason Starting Lineup and Lake Forest College was one of just four programs in the country to have a pair of players listed.

Senior A.J. Jackson, a three-time All-American and the NCAA Division III record-holder with eight career punt return touchdowns, was selected to the Starting Lineup for the third year in a row. Jackson led the nation in punt return average each of the last two full seasons and has amassed 1,142 yards on 45 returns in his career (25.4-yard average). Over the last three seasons the wide receiver has also caught 112 passes for 1,881 yards and 27 touchdowns, rushed for three scores, and added another touchown while averaging 27.9 yards per kickoff return.

Fellow senior Dante Esposito joins Jackson on this year's list. The cornerback tied a school record with eight interceptions and added eight pass breakups in 2021. He ranked fifth in the country in interceptions per game and tied-for-13th in passes defended per contest. Esposito was named Midwest Conference Defensive Skill MVP and a D3football.com Second Team All-American after the season.

The 2022 College Football America Yearbook features more than 900 college football teams from the United States and Canada in more than 250 striking, full-color pages. That includes every team from the NCAA (FBS, FCS, Division II and Division III), NAIA, NJCAA, CCCAA and U Sports (Canada).

The Division III section of the 2022 College Football America Yearbook features 36 pages of content including:
