The Lake Forest College women's soccer team was defeated 3-0 under the lights at Milwaukee School of Engineering Thursday night. The Foresters fell to 6-5-0 on the season while the Raiders raised their record to 8-4-0.
The home team jumped out to the early lead with a goal less than eight minutes into the contest. It turned out to be the only goal of the first half. M.S.O.E. out-shot the Foresters 9-4 in the period.
A second goal at 66:39 doubled the home team's lead and the Raiders tacked on an additional insurance score with 5:01 remaining in the game.
M.S.O.E. finished the contest with a 16-7 advantage in shots.
The Foresters will resume Midwest Conference play at Grinnell College Saturday morning at 11:00.
