68 Foresters Named Academic All-Midwest ConferenceJune 20, 2012The Midwest Conference announced its Academic All-MWC honorees for 2011-12 on Wednesday. Lake Forest College had 68 student-athletes in 13 sports listed.

Kevin Davis to Participate in Showcase and All-Star Game this WeekendMarch 05, 2012Lake Forest College senior wide receiver Kevin Davis has been selected to participate in the Beyond Sports College Network Collegiate Showcase at Akron University this weekend. The three-day event concludes with a pair of all-star games on Sunday.

Forester junior quarterback Pete Scaffidi was an Honorable Mention selection.

Jim Catanzaro Sheds Interim Tag and Remains Foresters' Head CoachDecember 20, 2011Lake Forest College Director of Athletics Jackie Slaats announced Tuesday that Jim Catanzaro has officially been named the Foresters' head football coach. Catanzaro had been the program's interim head coach since April of 2009.

Jim Catanzaro to Coach, Three Foresters to Play in All-American BowlDecember 07, 2011The 2011 Metrodome All-American Bowl will be played on Saturday, December 17, at Mall of America Field at HHH Metrodome in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Three Foresters will be playing in the game and Lake Forest College Head Coach Jim Catanzaro will direct one of the all-star game's two teams.

Kevin Davis Named Foresters' Most Valuable PlayerDecember 04, 2011The Lake Forest College Athletic Department held its annual Fall Sports Awards Ceremony on Sunday, December 4, at the First Presbyterian Church in Lake Forest. Senior wide receiver Kevin Davis was the Forester football team's Most Valuable Player and fellow wideout Austin Sobey, a junior, was the squad's Most Improved Player.

Foresters Unable to Hold Off Concordia Chicago in Season Opener/FinaleNovember 19, 2011The Lake Forest College and Concordia University Chicago football teams completed their season-opener that was suspended due to lightning on Saturday. Concordia Chicago came away with a 56-28 victory. Forester junior wide receiver Austin Sobey's touchdown grab before the postponement gave him a school record 13 on the season.
