Sophomore Anthony Sullivan and junior Riley Frisbie were the Foresters' top players at the United States Handball Association National Collegiate Championships over the weekend. The event was hosted by the University of Minnesota.

Sullivan was the only Lake Forest men's player in the Open Singles Division, where he fell in the round of 16 before advancing to the semifinals of the Open 9-16 bracket.

Frisbie won both of her preliminary matches to earn a spot in the Women's Open Singles Division. He streak ended there, however, and she was also defeated in the Open 9-16 quarterfinals.

Four of junior Devin Peters' six matches at the event were decided by a tiebreaker. He rattled off three straight wins in the A1 Division before falling 9-21, 21-18, 11-4 in the final. Classmate Chandler Straw also found himself in the A1 Division after splitting his preliminary matches. He then advanced to the semifinals before being eliminated by the eventual champion.
