Steve Little

The 2013 season will be the fifth for Steve Little as the Foresters' outside linebackers coach. He has served as a coach and/or strength and conditioning coordinator at various levels for more than two decades.

Under his directon over the last four seasons, Forester starting outside linebackers have combined for over 400 tackles as well as 42.5 tackles for loss, 20 sacks, six forced fumbles, eight fumble recoveries, three interceptions, and a pair of return touchdowns. They have also garnered three All-Midwest Conference honors, including a Second Team selection for John Dillon after the team's MWC championship run in 2012.

Little was the assistant head coach at Trinity International University in nearby Deerfield, Illinois, from 2004-08 and also served as defensive line coach (2004-05) and defensive coordinator (2005-08) during that time. He also spent time coaching for the Chicago Bears (1998-2003), Temple University (1990), Purdue University (1988-89), and Iowa State University (1986) and had internships with the Buffalo Bills and Carolina Panthers.

In addition to coaching, Little has worked in the strength and conditioning field for the Chicago Bears, Northern Illinois University, San Francisco 49ers, Purdue University, and Temple University.

Little played collegiately at Iowa State University, where he was a team captain and Second Team All-Big 8 selection.
