The 2012 season is the second on the Forester staff for Mike Hansen, who will direct the team's tight ends. He served as Lake Forest's cornerbacks coach in 2011.
Forester cornerbacks made more than 100 tackles and had four interceptions and a fumble recovery last season. Darrius McKay tied for fifth in the Midwest Conference with three interceptions during league play.
Hansen spent nine years as a defensive backs coach at various levels of the Bothell Cougars Junior Football Association in Bothell, Washington. He helped lead Cougar teams to four championships, including three in as many years from 2001-03.
Hansen is a 2007 graduate of the University of Washington, where he majored in biochemistry.
