The Forester women's tennis team fell 9-0 Friday night at Wheaton College, the 14th-ranked team in the Central Region.
The closest match of the evening was at #2 doubles, where Wheaton edged out freshman Allison Watts and junior Lucia Stumbras 8-6.
The loss dropped Lake Forest's overall record to 15-7 while Wheaton improved to 16-1
The Foresters will close out the regular season against Carthage College, the region's 15th-ranked team, at home on Sunday. Lake Forest's Senior Day match will begin at 11:00 a.m. and fourth-year players Christi Valicenti and Grace Dowling, who rand first and second in team history in career victories, will be honored before the contest.
