Foresters Win at St. Norbert to Remain Undefeated in MWC Play

The Lake Forest College women's soccer team raised its Midwest
Conference record to 4-0-0 by defeating host St. Norbert College
2-1 on Saturday. Sophomore Hailey
Schleibinger scored what turned out to be the official
game-winning goal in the 61st minute.
Forester junior Erica May scored
the only goal of the first half at the 25-minute mark. Her third
goal of the season was assisted by senior Emily
Weber.
Lake Forest sophomore goalkeeper Bri
Schleibinger recorded six saves in the first half and added one
in the second. She lowered her goals against average on the season
to 1.43.
Hailey Schleibinger's second goal of 2010 was scored at 60:10
and gave the Foresters a brief two-goal lead.
St. Norbert finally got on the scoreboard at 65:55 but was
unable to tie the score. The Green Knights fell to 2-6-0 overall
and 0-2-0 in Midwest Conference play this season.
Lake Forest is now 7-2-0 overall and will play at North Central
College Tuesday night and at Carthage College Thursday evening.
Both games will begin at 7:00.
