Lake Forest College's Jenna Doctor was named Midwest Women's Lacrosse Conference Offensive Player of the Week on Monday after scoring a program record seven goals in Saturday's 16-5 victory at Concordia University Chicago.
Back-to-back goals by Doctor in the first quarter gave the Foresters a 3-2 lead and the first of her two scores in the second put the visitors on top 5-4. The team was a man down in the third when she tied the previous school record of five goals and the sophomore attacker tacked on two more as Lake Forest pulled away in the fourth.
Doctor also led all players in the game with five ground ball and three caused turnovers.
Doctor has scored a team-high 15 goals so far this season after leading the squad with 36 and earning MWLC Attacker of the Year honors in 2022.
MWLC Players of the Week are selected by the league's coaches. Doctor also earned the award once last season.
