Lake Forest College's Emma Tryder was named Midwest Women's Lacrosse Conference Offensive Player of the Week on Monday after amassing a total of seven points in a pair of games last week.
Tryder scored a team-high four goals in the Foresters' 20-7 victory at Warren Wilson College in Ashville, North Carolina, on Tuesday. The freshman attacker scored once each in the first and third quarters before adding two goals and an assist in the fourth.
Lake Forest fell 12-8 to visiting Madonna University on Saturday, despite a pair of goals late in the game from Tryder, who is the only player on the team to score at least twice in all four contests this season.
MWLC Players of the Week are selected by the league's sports information directors.
