Lake Forest junior Christina Pekar placed fourth off both boards at the UIC Diving Invitational on Saturday. She was one of three Foresters to compete in the meet.
Pekar posted a score of 242.15 points in 1-meter diving and 249.45 in the 3-meter competition. All three of the divers ahead of her compete at the NCAA Division I level.
Fellow junior Sarah Pekar finished just behind her sister off the 3-meter board with a fifth-place score of 245.30 points. She placed seventh in the 1-meter competition with 218.40 points.
The only Forester male at the meet was freshman Mateusz Obstoj, who finished eighth in the 1-meter event with 208.60 points and 10th off the higher board with a score of 206.00.
All three competitors will be in action again next Saturday when Lake Forest finishes off the regular season with a dual meet against visiting Illinois Institute of Technology. The contest will begin at 1:00 p.m.
