The Endless Pools Top 25 Rankings were released on Thursday and the Lake Forest College men were listed 16th.
The Foresters earned the ranking based on their performance at the Illinois-Michigan Quadrangular at Wheaton College last Saturday. Lake Forest won the meet for the first time since beginning attendance at the annual four-team competition in 1998. The four teams were separated by just 66 points, with the Foresters tallying 500, Hope College finishing with 453.5, Kalamazoo College netting 439.5, and the hosts placing fourth with 434.

The ranking accounts for teams' top performances over the preceding month and is the only objective ranking of swimming for NCAA Divisions I, II, and III, NAIA, and NJCAA. The rankings utilize a new point system based on a 1,100 point scale. The new scale uses NCAA time standards and a percentile ranking of all times over the past four years.
