The Intercollegiate Tennis Association announced its end-of-season rankings on Wednesday and the Foresters' Oleksyi Vyshyvanyuk was listed 19th in singles in the Central Region.
Vyshyvanyuk posted a perfect 8-0 record at the top of Lake Forest's lineup this spring. The only set he dropped was the first of the year in a 2-6, 6-2, (10-6) come-from-behind triumph over the top player from North Central College. The sophomore won 61 points and lost just 19 in five Midwest Conference North Division matches and had taken the opening set in the MWC Championship Match when Grinnell College clinched the team title.
After two shortened seasons at the College Vyshyvanyuk owns an 18-2 record at #1 singles and an 18-6 mark in doubles.
