The Forester men's tennis team was defeated 8-1 at the University of Chicago, the nation's 15th-ranked team, on Tuesday. Lake Forest fell to 9-6 on the season.
The Foresters' lone team point came at #2 doubles where freshman Ryan Kreis and senior Jon Flaksman prevailed 8-6. It was their eighth consecutive victory and they raised their record on the season to 12-3.
Lake Forest will play its final two Midwest Conference South Division matches of the year on Saturday at Monmouth College. The Foresters will take on the hosts at 9:00 a.m. and Knox College at 3:00 in the afternoon.
