Dylan Hartman Named MWC Offensive Performer of the Week

Lake Forest College men's soccer player Dylan Hartman was named Midwest Conference Offensive Performer of the Week for his performance in the Foresters' 3-2 victory at Ripon College on Saturday.
Hartman, a sophomore forward, scored a pair of goals in the game's first 20 minutes to keep the Foresters in the contest. Ripon had taken as early lead on a penalty shot just 42 seconds into the game but Hartman tied the score 100 seconds later. The Red Hawks pulled back ahead at the 7:06 mark but Lake Forest drew even again at 19:06 on Hartman's second score of the day and third in as many games this season.
The Foresters scored what turned out to be the final goal of the contest at the 31:52 mark. They are now 6-5-0 overall this season and 4-0-0 in conference play.
It was the second career two-goal game for Hartman, who also accomplished the feat in his third game last season.
