Foresters Defend All Three Titles at USHA Collegiate National Championships
February 28, 2010The Lake Forest College handball team claimed the men's, women's, and combined titles at the United States Handball Association Collegiate National Championships in Houston, Texas, over the weekend (February 25-28). It was the second year in a row and fourth in team history that the Foresters captured all three titles. -
Nikolai Nahorniak and Suhn Lee Capture I.H.A. Doubles Crown
February 14, 2010Forester handball players competed in the Illinois Handball Association Doubles Tournament over the weekend (February 11-14). Lake Forest senior Suhn Lee (Glenview, Ill.) and junior Nikolai Nahorniak (Elk Grove, Ill.) claimed the Open Division title on the men's side, edging out alumni Dave Munson '04 and Mike Munson '01, in the finals.

Suhn Lee Sweeps Singles and Doubles Championships at Circle City
January 31, 2010Lake Forest College handball players competed at the Circle City Tournament in Indianapolis over the weekend (January 29-31). The Foresters took home the titles in six different divisions, including Open Singles and Open Doubles. Senior Suhn Lee (Glenview, Ill.), the event's top singles seed and defending champion, defeated each of his three Open Singles opponents in two games, including Forester alum Bill Mehilos '02 21-18, 21-3 in the final.

Lee and Nahorniak Take Second in Doubles at Milwaukee Classic
December 06, 2009Several players on the Lake Forest College handball team competed at the Milwaukee Classic over the weekend (December 4-6). Senior Suhn Lee (Glenview, Ill.) and junior Nikolai Nahorniak (Elk Grove, Ill.) reached the championship match in Open Doubles but had to settle for a runner-up finish.
