Eleven players on the team had at least one carry and senior running back Armani Brown ran for two touchdowns and a game-high 86 yards on 12 carries. Senior running back Damon Bonds also scored twice on the ground and freshman George Maroun once. Senior quarterback Tre Stewart ran for another score and completed 10 of 18 passes for 120 yards.

Lake Forest also had the edge in special teams, where senior Doug Antonucci and sophomore Jimmy Lonigro blocked punts and Lonigro recovered his for a touchdown. Freshman kicker Beckham Sonnabend made all seven of his extra point attempts and kicked the first two field goals of his career, once from 27 yards out and the other 37.
