The Lake Forest College Athletic Department, in conjunction with the Forester Athletic Network (F.A.N.), is excited to host a reunion on Saturday, September 22, to honor the 2002 Midwest Conference Championship Football Team, which compiled an impressive 9-2 (8-1 MWC) record and earned the College's first NCAA football bid. All alumni, coaches, and family of the 2002 team are encouraged to return to the "Forest" for this special day.
The Foresters will host Midwest Conference rival Knox College and Prairie Fire head coach - and former Forester head coach - Chad Eisele for what promises to be an exciting football contest, but before the game begins, we invite you to join us for a special Forester Brunch in the Dau Room. This will be a great opportunity for alumni and families to reminisce with each other, Athletic Trainer Mike Gilboe, and the current coaching staff, including Mike Dau '58, Tom Myers, and Ted Soenksen '06 who were also part of the 2002 team.
