The Midwest Conference began naming an Athlete of the Year for Women's Sports and an Athlete of the Year for Men's and Mixed Sports in 2021. The awards honor the academic achievements, athletics excellence, community service, and leadership of graduating student-athletes in the league. On the women's side, the accolade replaced the MWC Woman of the Year Award, which began in 2003. Nominations for MWC Athlete of the Year for Women's Sports (and MWC Woman of the Year before it) come from the NCAA Woman of the Year program, which began in 1991. Listed below are Lake Forest College nominees for all of the awards mentioned above with award winners noted.
