Senior Philip Wilson closed out his career with the 16th-fastest time in program history Saturday at the NCAA Division III Midwest Regional Championship Meet.

Wilson completed the 8-kilometer course at Lake Breeze Golf Course in Winneconne, Wisconsin, in 26:08 and placed 55th out of 252 finishers in the race. Sophomore Christian Reyes was next on the team and 123rd overall in 27:20.4 and senior Dillon Rice was 140th with a career-best time of 27:39.2.

Lake Forest placed 27th in the 36-team field.

The Forester women were led by junior Yaneli Guajardo, who finished 40th overall in 23:20. Her time ranks 20th in team annals. Freshman Anna Mollnhuber was 85th in 24:15.1 and sophomore Ellen Szostak 92nd with a time of 24:19.7. Senior Ariane Balaram also finished in the top half of the 257-runner field, posting a 127th-place time of 25:00.1.

Lake Forest's 17th-place finish was the second-best regional placing in team history.

It was the team's final meet with Ciara Kissane as head coach. Kissane recently accepted a position with the Drake Relays.
