Junior Grace Monshausen scored her first goal of the season Sunday in a 1-1 tie at Edgewood College.
Monshausen gave the visitors the lead when she hit the top-left corner of the goal from just outside the box at the 9:20 mark. It was the second score of her career.
The Eagles came back and tied the game just 12 minutes later and neither team was able to score again.
Lake Forest outshot Edgewood in every period and by a 17-10 margin in the contest.
Forester sophomore goalkeeper Altina Rexhepi made six saves, including two in the second overtime.
The tie left Lake Forest with a 3-1-1 record on the season while Edgewood finished the day at 1-2-1.
The Foresters will host Conordia University Wisconsin Wednesday at 4:30 p.m.
