The United Soccer Coaches posted the 2018 NCAA Division III All-Region Teams on Monday and Lucas Geib of Lake Forest College was a Second Team selection in the North Region.
Geib led the Foresters with 13 goals, 6 assists, and 32 points in 16 appearances this season. The junior forward tied for 24th in the nation in points per game and 35th in goals per contest. He scored three goals and added a pair of assists in the season opener and went on to record at least two points in 10 of the 16 games he played.
Geib accounted for the official game-winning goal in four of Lake Forest's last five victories of the year as the team finished 10-7-1 overall and qualified for the four-team Midwest Conference Tournament with a mark of 6-3-0 in league play.
The Foresters have now had at least one player earn all-region honors in four consecutive seasons and in seven of the last eight years.
