Malachi Allgood

Malachi Allgood is an assistant coach for Forester cross country and track and is in his third year at the College in 2021-22. He also served as the programs' interim head coach and recruiting coordinator from November of 2019 to February of 2020.

In the fall of 2019 Allgood helped lead four Foresters to All-Midwest Conference honors in cross country. The men's and women's teams each had a runner in the top five at the conference meet and the squads combined to post eight times that rank among the top 25 in program history at their respective distance.

Under Malachi's direction, Forester runners combined to post a program record-tying five all-conference performances at the 2020 MWC Indoor Championship Meet, including Yaneli Guajardo's title in the 3000m and runner-up finishes in the 800m and mile.

Allgood attended Concordia University Chicago, where he competed for four years on the Cougar track and field team. He competed in several different events during his career and served on the school's Student-Athlete Advisory Committe. Allgood graduated in 2018 with a degree in English.
