Kevin Glabowicz

Assistant Coach Kevin Glabowicz joined the Forester staff in 2020-21.

After winning four of six matches during an abbreviated season in the spring of 2021, Glabowicz helped Lake Forest split eight Midwest Conference contests and the team placed fifth in the league that fall. Mary Gegen was a Second Team All-MWC selection and one of six Foresters to rank among the top 10 in the conference in kills, aces, digs, blocks, or assists per league match.

Also an experienced and successful coach at the club and prep levels, Glabowicz led the Lakes Community High School boys volleyball team to four consecutive conference titles and a regional champiomship during his six years as head coach. The Eagles were 34-4 in league play during that span. 

Glabowicz is also a history teacher at Cristo Rey St. Martin College Preparatory School, where he coached boys and girls volleyball for a combined four seasons.

Glabowicz graduated from Illinois State University and nearby Waukegan High School and currently resides in Waukegan with his wife Kaia and their newborn son Kazimir.
