Lake Forest College volleyball player Grace Larson was named Midwest Conference Offensive Performer of the Week on Tuesday for her play in three matches over the weekend.

Larson, a senior outside hitter, returned to the Forester lineup Friday night after a two-week layoff due to injury. While the team was defeated in five sets at Illinois Institute of Technology, Larson turned in her second career 20/20 performance, racking up 23 digs and a career-high 25 kills.

Lake Forest won twice on Saturday, defeated Alverno College in three sets and host Concordia University Chicago in five. Larson's match-high 16 kills in the first contest were just one fewer than Alverno's total as a team and her seven digs tied two other Foresters for team-high honors. Larson recorded her sixth double-double of the year against Concordia Chicago, leading all players in the contest with 23 kills, 17 digs, and four aces.

Larson finished the weekend with 64 kills, 47 digs, six aces, and a .324 hitting percentage.

MWC Performers of the Week are selected by the league office.
