The Forester women's tennis team defeated visiting Milwaukee School of Engineering 9-0 on Wednesday.

Lake Forest began the contest by dropping just one game in the three doubles matches combined.

The Foresters clinched the victory once sophomore Sara Lopez and junior Maria Jose Campos had finished off their matching 6-2, 6-2 victories at #4 and #1 singles, respectively. Junior Margaret Bugnacki took both sets 6-1 at #2 and Libby Moog prevailed 6-0, 6-2 at #3. Freshman Maggie Fields won 6-1, 6-2 at #5 and sophomore Isa Hinojosa closed out the day with a 6-4, 6-2 triumph at #6.

Lake Forest's third consecutive 9-0 victory raised the team's overall record on the season to 5-4 while the Raiders fell to 4-5.

The Foresters will be in action again next Tuesday at Roosevelt University. The match will be played at Maggie Daley Park in Chicago and will begin at 5:00 p.m.
