The Forester women's tennis team led 4-3 over Morningside University on Friday when the match was halted due to rain.

Morningside had just five players so Lake Forest was awarded points at #3 doubles and #6 singles.

Forester sophomore Margaret Bugnacki and junior Natalia Leite edged out their counterparts at #2 doubles 8-6. They finished the spring break trip to Hilton Head, South Carolina, with a perfect 4-0 record in doubles and combined for a mark of 5-1 in singles.

Junior Maria Jose Campos came out on top of a 3-6, 6-3, (10-3) decision at #1 singles for Lake Forest's other point. Bugnacki and Leite had taken the first set and led in the second at #2 and #4, respectively, when the match ended.

The Foresters won two of three contests on the trip and are 10-6 on the year.

They will host Judson University for Senior Day and Parents Day next Saturday. The match will begin at 5:30 p.m. and be played indoors at the Racquet Club of Lake Bluff.
