Sophomore Margaret Bugnacki was named the women's Forester Athlete of the Week for her performances against opponents from Monmouth College and Illinois College over the weekend.
Bugnacki continued her undefeated singles season posting two singles wins on Saturday, September 18.
In the Forester's first match up against Conference opponents, Bugnacki defeated Monmouth 6-0,6-0 in her singles match after winning her doubles match with junior Natalia Leite 8-0. Later in the day, again with Leite, she went on to defeat Illinois College 8-0 in doubles then post a 6-1, 6-0 win in her singles match.
Bugnacki ended the day with 40 games won and only 1 lost on the day.
The Forester Athletes of the Week are voted for by the Athletic Department every Tuesday.
