The 2021 fall schedule for the Forester women's tennis team was announced on Monday.
Lake Forest will open the season by taking on Edgewood College and host Wheaton College on Saturday, September 4. The Foresters will also play non-conference contests at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater on September 12 and against Milwaukee School of Engineering at home three days later.
The team's first Midwest Conference opponents of the year will be Monmouth College and Illinois College, who will visit Lake Forest on Saturday, September 18. A week later the Foresters will make the trip to Iowa to take on Cornell College and Grinnell College. After competing in the Intercollegiate Tennis Association Regional Tournament at Kalamazoo College the first weekend in October, the team will close out its conference slate against visiting Ripon College and Lawrence University on October 9.
The top four teams in the league advance to the MWC Team Tournament, which will be played at the Nielsen Tennis Center in Madison, Wisconsin, on Friday, October 15. They will be joined by the rest of the conference for the MWC Individual Tournaments the next two days.
Additional matches will be scheduled during the spring semester.
Lake Forest was 7-2 overall and 5-0 in MWC North Division play in the spring of 2021, Scot Reinhart's first season as interim head coach.
