Sophomore Natalia Leite was named Forester Athlete of the Week for her performance the MWC North Division Tournament Final against St. Norbert College on Saturday, May 1.
Leite teamed up with freshman MJ Campos to win 8-1 at #3 doubles; the team remains undefeated on the season.
She also closed out the contest with a 7-5, 6-1 victory at #6 singles. These wins extended her singles winning streak to 10 matches, a run that dates back to last year.
The Forester women's tennis team continues their season on Friday, May 7 at the Midwest Conference Championship Match against Grinnell College.
Forester Athlete of the Week are selected by the Athletic Department on Thursdays.
