Senior Allison Watts advanced to the round of 32 in singles at the Intercollegiate Tennis Association Regional Tournament in Kalamazoo, Michigan, over the weekend.

Watts won 6-0, 6-4 over Kathryn Wheeler of Elmhurst College in the opening round and defeated Augustana College's Kalli Majewski 6-3, 6-4 in the round of 64. She was then knocked off in the round of 32 by fourth-seeded Amanda Bandrowski of Hope College, who reached the event's semifinal round before being eliminated.

Sophomores Tyranny Miller and Grace Gould were also victorious in round one but were unable to advance past the round of 64.

Gould and freshman Katie Wegrecki were the only Foresters to prevail in the opening round of doubles. They defeated Danielle Beard and Madeline Delano of Millikin University 8-1 before falling to the tournament's fifth-seeded tandem from Kenyon College, who eventually reached the quarterfinal round.

The Foresters will resume dual match play next Sunday at Beloit College, where they will take on Alverno College at 1:30 in the afternoon and the hosts in a Midwest Conference contest at 4:00.
